“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law? And he said to him, ‘You shall love YHWH your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the greatest and first commandment. And the second is like it; You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Matthew 22:36-39
How was your search for generational strongholds within your family line this past week? How many did you easily identify? How many were revealed by our Father as you sought His counsel? Most of us have numerous generational strongholds within our family lines. That is not unusual, so do not be discouraged or feel hopeless regarding the work lying before you. Remember, God gave you the power to change these things when He created you. He gave you a spirit of power, love, and self-control, as well. And Yeshua gave you authority over the evil and unclean spirits that have come against you and taken authority in your life. You are a victor, a conqueror, not a victim! “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” Romans 8:37
I started today’s discussion with Yeshua’s words as he quoted Deuteronomy 6:5 and Leviticus 19:18. The whole law is summed up as God’s instructions on how His people should love Him and love their fellow brothers and sisters. It is all about love and relationship with the Most High God and with His people.
But, to truly love Yah with all our heart, soul, and mind we must be willing to become one with Him, to be vulnerable with Him, to truly seek to know Him intimately while He knows us intimately in return. If we are believing lies about Him, ourselves, and others, we CANNOT be in intimate relationship with any of the three. If we are believing lies about those three relationships, those relationships will be fractured and unhealthy. What we choose to believe and think upon will either allow intimacy or prevent intimacy within those relationships.
To be at one with Yah is to be in alignment with His word and desires, to be operating as He instructed that we may be giving Him our whole heart, mind, and soul. To seek Him above all else. to desire His counsel in all areas of our life; to desire what He desires. To be vulnerable with Him, after all, there isn’t anything about you that He doesn’t already know and see. Yet, know that He has accepted you and will not reject you. (Romans 8:38-39)
To be at one with oneself is to be comfortable with and even like oneself. To see yourself as God sees you through the blood of Yeshua and as the masterpiece He says you are. To think neither to little nor too much of yourself. (1 John 3:1-3) To treat yourself with respect and care so you may love others in a similar manner.
And to be at one with others is to accept them where they are, allowing God to work within them while loving them as instructed by our Father (Lev 19:18; Matt 18:15-17; 1 Cor 13; Romans 12; James 2:8; 1 John 4:19-21) It is to allow them to be who God is leading them to be; to encourage the work God is doing within them and be willing to correct in love and with respect. It is to listen as well as to share open and honestly with them. It is to know you are accepted by another and living so they know they are accepted by you.
Even within the most intimate earthly relationship with another (marriage) if one is operating out of lies, that person will not be able to be completely vulnerable with the other. There is a hiding of self as self-preservation is the mode of operation. For there is fear of being rejected. Without that vulnerability, there is not true intimacy. It is the same with our relationship with God, with ourselves, and with others, if we are believing lies.
This is the desire of Satan. Part of his stealing and destroying is keeping us from truly being one with God, with ourselves, and with others. He desires to keep us from that intimacy that Yah desires with us and for us. So, he lies to us hoping to convince us to choose self-preservation; SELF over love and intimate relationship; forfeiting a relationship that is truly with the whole heart, mind, and soul.
We saw this very thing when Satan worked to convince Yeshua to choose self-preservation rather than the oneness and intimacy he had with our Father. Yeshua knew what Satan was doing. He called him out on it. “It is written…” We are to do the same.
It has been my prayer this whole time that while we walked through this journey together, we would each experience healing, freedom, and a new intimacy within our relationships with our Father, with ourselves, and with others within the Body of Messiah. It has been my prayer that we would learn to and practice operating in truth and faith. It is my prayer that going forward we will continue this work, this deliverance, this daily choice of walking in freedom rather than returning to bondage. May the work we have done and continue to do bear much fruit for the kingdom and glory of our King. All glory be to Him! HalleluYah!
This is our last discussion together regarding the mind-brain-body connection to our health and healing. The last blog I will post in this series will be resources and a bibliography for those who desire to learn more, or simply to know from what sources I learned my information.
Thank you very much for going on this journey with me. Thank you for sharing with me at times what has impacted you and how you are seeing things change for you. I appreciate those testimonies and give praise to our Father along with you for each one. I will probably from time to time share on the blog something Abba reveals to me. You are welcome to read and even comment. I learn from you as much as you may learn from me.
One more thing will help you in your going forward in your deliverance. That is sharing with others that they too may be delivered. Share what you have learned. Share what you have changed. Share the results of that change. Share with others this blog or the resources I will include in the next post. Ask others to walk with you and to help hold you accountable for continuing forward rather than returning to Egypt. (Luke 11:24-26) Most of all, share with others the One who empowers that change. HalleluYah!
It has been a pleasure walking with you as we experienced healing in mind, body, and spirit!
Shalom.
