More Lying Spirits
My sheep know my voice

“But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the gatekeeper opens. The sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he has brought out all his own, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. A stranger they will not follow, but they will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.” John 10:3-5
There are so many lying spirits that we cannot possibly deal with all of them in this blog. Remember, for every truth there is a lie. The best way to spot a lie is to have the truth written upon your heart- breathe, live, and obey the truth daily. Make it a very part of you by meditating upon it, speaking it out loud, singing it, writing it, reading it, and listening to the Word of God every day. What you think upon the most will grow within your brain and within the cells of your body.
I will just mention a few more lying spirits that I feel led to bring to light. It will be up to you to seek from YHWH more help in identifying those lying spirits that may be operating in authority in your life.

Addiction (connected to low self-esteem, escapism from pain, becomes idolatry)

Fault finding/Criticism/Judgment- Matthew 7:1-5, 12; 18:15-17; Luke 6:37-38;
Failure to protect/nurture; Eph 5:25-30; 1 Corinthians 13:1-7; 1 Tim 5:8; 1 Joh 4:8
Jealousy- Numbers 5:14; Eph 2:2; Ps 84:11-12; Heb 13:5;

Divination (occultism)- Acts 16:16
Lying- 2 Chron 18:20-22; John 8:44; 1 John 2:21; Colossians 3:9
Fear- 2 Timothy 1:7; Job 4:13-17;
Dumb and Deaf- Mark 9:17-29
Some of these we have touched upon in this blog, but some we have not. As I said, there are so many, we simply cannot address every one in this blog. I chose to deal with the ones I feel are the “biggest” liars in our lives in order to give each of us a start at identifying the lies by which we have operated in the past. Every lie separates us from God, ourselves (who we are meant to be), and others. They come from the enemy who desires to kill, steal, and destroy us. Yet, God gave us power over the liar that begins with our mind. We mindfully take every thought captive to the obedience to Messiah. And if we find that we have given authority in our lives to a lying spirit, Yeshua gave us power and authority to cast them out of our “house”. But, repentance must be genuine and the lie must be replaced with truth and action, or they will return with more spirits that are worse than the first.
We began this blog by looking at how God wired our brains to change themselves and how what we think affects our brain and body. That which we think upon the most will grow within our brain and will impact our very cells within our bodies. What an amazing and gracious God we serve who gives us the power to choose what we will think, believe, how we will behave and respond, and what kind of health we will experience! HalleluYah!
This week continue to work on the thoughts you are wanting to change. Continue to seek the counsel and help of our Father. Continue to flood your mind with truth. Continue to walk in faith. Continue the work you have started as God continues to bring to completion the work He has begun within you. Take every thought and emotion captive. Slow down and take the time to think about your thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and even your health. Meditate upon our Creator and King and all He has said and done. It is my hope and prayer that you are already seeing fruit from what we have been doing and learning together over the past year.
Next time we will look at Generational Strongholds; what they are and aren’t, how to spot them, and how to deal with them.
Until then,
“And he said to him, ‘Rise and go your way; your faith has made you well.” Luke 17:
