Quantum Physics of the Brain
How do we go from a thought to reality?

“Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.”
Philippians 4:8
Doctors and scientists have realized, researched, and documented the fact that over 700 diseases are directly connected to our thought life. Things from arthritis, asthma, cancer, Alzheimer’s, diabetes, auto-immune diseases, blood pressure, heart health and so much more are all connected to our thought life. In other words, our thoughts, not our DNA or environment or anything else, will be the greatest factor in our overall health. Seems God knew that and gave us the antidote for poor health when he had Paul pen to the Philippians exactly what kind of thoughts they should have.
What you choose to think will directly affect every cell in your body, even your DNA. You are born with certain DNA, but it is your thoughts that either turn on or off those DNA markers within your body. How does this work?
Quantum Physics of the Brain has four components to our thoughts- Information, consideration, choice, and consequence.
1) The brain takes in the information from the 5 senses, from the spiritual realm, or from the mind itself and what is
stored in it.
2) Then the mind considers the probabilities that may come out of that information.
3) The mind then makes a choice which brings a consequence.
4) The choice the mind makes becomes reality within the brain and body. Once a thought is made within the mind,
energy and chemicals (hormones) are released that tell the brain to release other chemicals and hormones which will
affect every cell within the body. This is the consequence.
For instance, if one sees a snake and the mind decides that the snake is a danger, energy and chemicals are released within the brain that set the sympathetic nervous system into motion. This puts the body into the fight or flight mode with which we are all familiar. The mind has told the brain that the body is in danger. The brain will tell the body to prepare to fight or run. The body responds either by running away from the snake or by going into action to kill or perhaps scare away the snake. The sympathetic nervous system affects everything from the pupils in your eyes, to the heart rate, to your stomach, bladder, muscles, blood vessels, reproductive system, and more, empowering the body to respond when in danger. Once the mind has determined that the body is no longer in danger, that thought will cause the brain to engage the parasympathetic nervous system that will then bring the body to rest and recovery.
Negative and toxic thoughts will also engage the sympathetic nervous system and put the body into fight or flight mode. Positive and healthy thoughts will cause the same action within the body as the parasympathetic nervous system, bringing the whole body into rest and recovery. God told us exactly what kind of thoughts we should have in our minds on a regular basis. It was not an instruction to “think happy thoughts” or to think “positive affirmations.” It was an instruction, technically a command, to think upon things that are first and foremost, true. Then honorable, just, pure, lovely, commendable, excellent, and worthy of praise. These thoughts will create a healthy mind which in turn creates a healthy brain and body.
Something for you to think upon till next time!
“I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul.” 3 John 2
